< Potters Point had too many guns for his five rivals when comfortably landing the feature race at Tramore, the EY Chase, for trainer Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell.
The 6-4 market leader jumped well throughout as he sat behind leader Marinero in the early exchanges before taking over travelling powerfully with four fences to jump.
Despite facing a stern challenge from Bentelimar before the second-last, Potters Point always had matters under control and he put the race to bed with a slick jump at the last before pulling eight lengths clear on the run-in.

The pair were locked together approaching the final hurdle but Touch Of Gold put in the better leap and went on to score by two and three quarter lengths.< Tomcoole Lad (12-1) only had a neck to spare when taking first prize in the Tom Murphy Car Sales (Mercedes-Benz) Handicap Chase while the www.seednecessities.com Handicap Hurdle went the way of Ardera Cross (6-1).
