With favourite Tommy Turkle proving disappointing in the Portrait Gallery Kilfeacle Stud Handicap Chase, it was left to Hot Friend to run out a commanding winner.

There were plenty in with chances on the home turn, but Hot Friend (6-1) kept ahead of them all, finishing strongly under Philip Enright to beat Kilbane River by three lengths.
