< Like It A Lot ran out a narrow winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Chase at Thurles.
Paul Nolan's 5-1 chance looked to have got the better of a duel with Toubaloo over the last, but that rival came back with a renewed effort and Like It A Lot got home by just a head under Adrian Heskin.
Brian Hayes' patience paid dividends when Our Katie got up to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase.< Carrigeen Kigelia and Hell Cat Maggie did battle from the front a long way out, but Hayes guided Garrett Ahern's 4-5 favourite into contention rounding the home turn and she kept on well to score by three and a quarter lengths from Carrigeen Kigelia.
Ruby Walsh had to be at his strongest on Willie Mullins' Totally Dominant as he just saw off the challenge of Arctic Skipper in the thurles.ie Maiden Hurdle.
The pair jumped the last as one and were never far apart up the run-in, with Walsh getting the 11-4 chance home by a neck.
Walsh and Mullins had to settle for second in the INH Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle, as their Vedettariat had no answer to Colm Murphy's Ryansbrook (5-1), who found plenty up the straight for Mikey Fogarty to win by 11 lengths.
John Walsh's Really Unique (4-1) got the better of a titanic tussle with Romantic Fashion to land the Thurles Handicap Hurdle under Brian O'Connell.
A last-flight mistake by Oscar'swan when just nudging into the lead gave Duty Dance (7-1) the chance to get back up under Daniel Howard, eventually prevailing by half a length.
The Tony Martin-trained Valgor Du Ronceray (11-4) showed the benefit of a recent run when streaking clear in the closing stages of the Fethard Flat Race under Nina Carberry.
