< A Toi Phil s victory in the Webster Cup Chase was the highlight of a brilliant five-timer for Gordon Elliott at Navan.< Nearly Nama'd made the early running in the Grade Two before Mozoltov went on passing the stands with a circuit to travel, but he was headed again by Nearly Nama'd and A Toi Phil early in the straight.

Ruby Walsh appeared to be confident on A Toi Phil, who accelerated into the final obstacle and got over it well en route to an eight-length triumph as the 6-5 favourite.

Challow runner-up Baltazar D'Allier was all the rage for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Hurdle but odds-on backers knew their fate early on when he hit the deck.

Elliott still won the race, though, with the front-running Monbeg Notorious (100-30) finding plenty for pressure to keep Augustin five and a half lengths at bay in the hands of Denis O'Regan.

Elliott followed up when the Davy Russell-ridden Chirico Vallis anished last week's Gowran mishap to the memory with a comfortable success in the Bective Restaurant Maiden Hurdle as the 4-7 favourite, and was also on the scoresheet thanks to Sanibel Island s victory in the Kilberry Handicap Hurdle.

The 4-1 chance travelled sweetly into contention after jumping two out and responded well to pressure to get the better of Grand Partner by three and a half lengths, with O'Regan again doing the steering.

The Elliott five-timer was completed by Minellafordollars in the Navan Race Members (Pro/Am) Flat Race.

The biggest prize of the afternoon was up for grabs in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Handicap Chase Final and went the way of Mick The Jiver

The Eoghan O'Grady-trained 3-1 shot disputed the lead with Kilcarry Bridge turning for home and dug really deep for David Splaine to cross the line six and a half lengths to the good, while Sunsetstorise (13-2) denied Ontopoftheworld in the www.navanracecourse.ie Handicap Chase.
