Sabrina Fairchild certainly didn’t go un-supported herself, as a 7/2 chance, and Shane Crosse did the steering for owner/breeder Eddie Lynam, and his daughter, trainer Sarah.

Juyush and Just Brilliant have been keeping their young handler’s name up in lights in recent times, and Sabrina Fairchild done her bit here, racing in mid-division before making progress on the inner two and a half furlongs out and eventually toughing it out best.

She was supplementing a course and distance maiden win from November 2018.

“I think she deserved that. She got a lot of bad draws and no luck in running last year,” said Sarah Lynam.

“She might have been a bit ring rusty the last day and has been balloted out three times so I’m glad she got in and got the win.

“She’s an old pet - a home-bred and Dad owns her. She’s a lovely filly and she does like it up here.”

The Stewards fined Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared headgear to Drummond Warrior prior to entering the parade ring.

L.T. McAteer, rider of That's Not Me trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right and lost its action in the straight.
