< Dancera could be headed to Galway after she ran out a clear-cut winner of the feature Mullingar Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan.
Mervyn Torrens charge has proved pretty versatile so far, winning over hurdles and on the level on both turf and the all-weather at Dundalk.
The 3-1 chance evidently appreciated the quick conditions here though, kicking on two flights from home for Paul Townend to breeze home by six lengths from Duers
"Dancera loves that fast ground and jumped well today," said Torrens.
"We'll mix it between hurdling and the Flat now and may go to Galway for something."< D Four Dave landed a gamble as he obliged in the Hurley Family Kilbeggan Handicap Hurdle.
Having been available at odds of 14-1 in the morning, Conor O'Dwyer's charge was eventually sent off a 5-1 chance and he had little trouble in accounting for Dizzy Rascal by seven lengths.
O'Dwyer said: "Three miles suits him well and he jumped great. He handled the ground well enough but I've no plans from here."
Although punters were smiling following two well-supported winners, the bookmakers had the last laugh in the T & V Novice Hurdle as 33-1 chance Frankford struck for trainer Jeffery Mulhern.
The eight-year-old had shown little in 12 previous starts but he relished the quick ground as he ran out a four-and-a-half-length winner over Aughwilliam Lady
"Frankford was bred and originally raced by Michael Bowe (of Limestone Lad fame) and when I got the horse, Michael told me to wait for better ground with the horse," Mulhern explained.
"I've had him since Christmas but he has had a lot of setbacks but today's ground was perfect for him.
"I've five horses in training, have had a few point to point winners, but this is my first racecourse winner."
Punters were out of luck in the opening www.kilbegganraces.com Maiden Hurdle as Moi Desire (4-1) foiled the challenge of favourite Gentle Noel while Arctic Zone (14-1) similarly accounted for the market leader in the Loughnagore Beginners Chase.
