The talented Mohaayed (6-4) got back to winning ways in the Join The Gowran Park Racing Club Today Race on Tuesday.

The Intikhab colt hasn't been seen much in his three-year-old season, but notably one of those runs was an encouraging sixth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas behind Gleneagles.

His recent effort at Listowel wasn't the best preparation for this test, but he bounced back from that run in good style with a three-quarter length victory, and was possibly value for a greater margin of victory after idling in the closing stages.< Mandamus was far from disgraced in runner-up spot and put clear daylight between himself and the 102-rated third Loch Garman

Perhaps the most taking performance of the afternoon came from Jaqen H'ghar (10-3) in the Gowran Park Racing Club Nursery Handicap.

The crowd were treated to a particularly canny front-running ride from Danny Grant in the www.gowranpark.ie Handicap.

20-1 shot Nancy Astor was sent to the front early on and soon crept clear, slipping a field that included the well-fancied runner-up Free Radical who was a length adrift at the finishing post.< Badger Daly (10-1) extended his burgeoning record at the track with a four-and-three-quarter-length victory in the Like Gowran Park On Facebook Handicap.

The son of Celtic Swing has now won twice and placed twice in seven visits to the County Kilkenny venue and has clearly benefitted from a reported operation on his palate.< Mandarin Monarch (10-1) triumphed by a short head in a pulsating finish to the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.

Jim Bolger's colt had to battle gamely to fend off the attentions of well-supported favourite Zulu Alpha
