Day four of the Galway extravaganza features a bumper eight-race card and the Arthur Guinness Galway Hurdle is the undoubted highlight.

Raise Your Heart heads the weights and has been in fine fettle on the level, a remark that applies to several of these, including the progressive Fingers.

Previous winners Cuan Na Grai and Indian Pace command respect once more, as do Truckers Delight and Fisher Bridge, who both ran here on Monday, but all will have to be at the top of their game to beat well-treated favourite Deutschland.

The action gets under way with the Perfect Pint Beginners Chase (2.00), in which Maucaillou attempts to build on the promise of his Wexford second.

View Mount Prince and Whatever Next have plenty of experience to call upon, while Noble Crusader represents Dermot Weld so must be on all shortlists.

The master of Rosewell House has a quiet day at Ballybrit by his standards but his unexposed Anywaysmile will have her supporters in the Guinness 250th Anniversary EBF Fillies Handicap.

Slieve Mish, Drombeg Dawn and last year's winner Miranda's Girl all present stern threats, though.

Gratified, second over timber on the opening day of the Festival, heads the list for Weld in the Arthur's Legacy Handicap, but will struggle to concede weight to the likes of Sandymount Lady, Frutti Tutti and Alajan.

Separate Ways goes in search of a hat-trick in the Guinness Time Handicap, but Crooked Throw gained a confidence-booster last time and can never be ruled out in a race of this nature.

Providing he's recovered from his Galway Plate exertions, Wins Now will take a power of beating should he take his chance in the St.James's Gate Novice Chase.

Farinelli, Montero and Quintana all have genuine claims as well, while the Signature Novice Hurdle is worth bearing in mind as a guide to better races during the winter, with Glenstal Abbey and Dual Gales catching the eye in particular.
