< Quick Jack ran out an impressive winner of the Guinness Galway Hurdle Handicap for Tony Martin.
Denis O'Regan moved stealthily into contention on the 9-2 chance and after getting his nose in front after the second-last flight, he never looked back, coming home two and a quarter lengths clear of the fast-finishing Max Dynamite with fellow Martin runner Ted Veale in third.
Willie Mullins got the better of a battle with Dermot Weld in the Arthur Guinness EBF Corrib Fillies Stakes as Laviniad edged out Tested in a thrilling finish.
Pat Smullen pushed favourite Tested into the lead on the home turn, while Declan McDonogh was forced to sit and suffer in a bunch on Laviniad, but the gaps appeared up the rail for the 5-1 chance and she quickened well to get up on the line.
Mullins made it a double when Prince D'Aubrelle (7-4) landed the Guinness West Indies Porter INH Flat Race under Patrick Mullins.
Henry De Bromhead and Johnny Burke followed up their Galway Plate success from Wednesday with victory in the Guinness Harp Novice Chase courtesy of Sizing Platinum
Burke was happy to sit on or near the early lead, and the 3-1 chance kept finding more in the closing stages to repel favourite Rock The World by three and three-quarter lengths.< Shantou Flyer battled bravely for Davy Russell to land the Guinness Dublin Porter Beginners Chase.
Colin Bowe's 11-4 second favourite was always alongside market leader As De Ferbet and after striding out in front after the last two fences, he ran on well to fend off As De Ferbet's renewed challenge to win by two and a quarter lengths.
Jessica Harrington's Princess Aloof (6-1) kept close to the rail and galloped her rivals into submission in the Hop House 13 Handicap under Shane Foley.
That was the first of a double for Harrington, as Sandymount Duke (4-1) made all under Robbie Power to land the Guinness Novice Hurdle.
