< Tobann made a quick return to action for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse, and it paid dividends as she collected the Group Three prize.
Just four days on from her narrow defeat in a handicap at the Derby meeting, Jim Bolger's filly was backed in to 3-1 and threw down her challenge almost two furlongs from home.
The other joint-favourite Majestic Queen tried to go with her, but Tobann stuck to her guns really well and passed the post a length and a half in front.< Agnes Stewart is bred to come into her own over middle-distances next year so the fact she was able to dispose of her opponents with a burst of acceleration in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden was very promising indeed.
Sent off at 22-1 on her first taste of competitive action, the Edward Lynam-trained Lawman filly was switched off the heels of the leaders to make her challenge approaching the furlong pole and the response was instant as she strode three and three-quarter lengths clear of fellow newcomer Cruidin < Bilderberg made an impressive return to action in the Eskies Live After Racing Maiden.
Ger Lyons' daughter of Big Bad Bob hadn't been seen since chasing home Sparrow on her sole juvenile outing at the Curragh last October, but that didn't stop the support coming for her and the even-mony favourite collared the front-running Monsieur Power en route to a four-length triumph.
The application of cheekpieces worked the oracle for Muscle Beach (20-1), who had lost his way a little but bounced back to his best form to claim the spoils in the Lyrath Estate & Spa Summer Ladies Day 13th July At Fairyhouse Handicap.< Eljowzah came into the La Bucca Restaurants Handicap as an 18-race maiden, but there was nothing wrong with her resolution as she knuckled down to fend off Le Cheile by three-quarters of a length as a 9-2 shot.
