< Blood Cotil looked a juvenile hurdler with a bright future when he ran out a facile winner of the Racegoer's 25euro Package 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
Ridden with restraint by Ruby Walsh, the 4-9 favourite cruised upsides Haraziban approaching the last and was not hard pressed to score by 17 lengths.
Walsh and Mullins' bid for a double with Turban was foiled in the Premier Jump Weekend Hurdle as Shrapnel proved too strong.
Gordon Elliott's 2-1 chance swept to the front on the turn for home but looked to be in trouble as Turban followed him through.
However, Shrapnel found more under Davy Russell, and having jumped the last much better than his rival, he went on to score by three lengths.

Held up just off the pace, the 10-11 favourite still had a fair bit to make up two out, but she showed a nice turn of foot to accelerate past her rivals and beat King Of The Refs by three and three-quarter lengths.
Eoin Doyle's For A Finish was another top-weight winner when Brian Cawley guided the 13-2 chance to victory in the New Self Service Handicap Hurdle.
Gillian O'Callaghan's Doc Hollywood (9-4 favourite) shrugged off the burden of top weight to land the Special Offers At Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle, coming home a length and a half clear of Blazing Sonnet under Keith Donoghue.
