< Shannon Soul came from last to first to complete a treble for Michael Halford at Dundalk.
The 4-1 chance missed the kick and Conor Hoban had to really get at him to latch on to the tail of the field in the Anglo Printers Handicap.
He was still at the rear with a couple of furlongs to travel, but he made steady headway and shot through along the inside to pass long-time leader Geological en route to a two-and-a-half-length triumph.< Chestnut Fire and Zinat formed the other legs of Halford's three-timer.
Chestnut Fire was clear on official ratings in the Esther McGahon, McGuinness & Co. Solicitors, Dundalk Claiming Race and justified 8-13 favouritism.< Elusive In Paris got away entering the final furlong but Hoban didn't panic and drove Chestnut Fire out to get up by half a length.
Zinat (4-7 favourite) was all the rage for the Elusive Pimpernel Fillies Maiden on the back of an introductory second at this circuit four weeks ago, and made all of the running in the hands of Pat Smullen to dispose of Secret Memories by two and a quarter lengths.
Smullen followed up when Beat The Bank made a triumphant introduction in the Elusive Pimpernel Median Auction Maiden.
Darren Bunyan's 4-1 shot was always to the fore and quickened well when asked by Smullen to cross the line with two and three-quarter lengths in hand of Halford's newcomer Vincy < Arlecchino's Rock (10-1) took the CBE Handicap, and his trainer Johnny Levins and jockey Donagh O'Connor followed up with Brokopondo (7-1) in the Monasterboice Inn Apprentice Handicap.< New Direction and Multiviz were clear out front and the former went on in the straight, but top-weight Brokopondo wore him down to get the verdict by half a length.
Divisions one and two of the Ready Mixed Concrete Handicap went to Ligeti (4-5 favourite) and Serefeli respectively, with the latter giving Smullen a treble.
