< Coolaghknock Glebe made it two wins in the space of five days in the Bet With The Tote Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal.
Saddled with a penalty for last weekend's Fairyhouse triumph, Christy Roche's eight-year-old still appeared well treated and was sent off the 13-8 market leader.
Having travelled in fifth for much of the contest, he took closer order swinging for home and touching down over the last just in front, stayed on well in the hands of Alan Crowe to beat Tyrone Tiger by two and three-quarter lengths.
Two out in the Silks@downroyal Novice Handicap Hurdle, the four runners were separated by less than a length, although market principals Dragon Khan and Angus Milan came to the fore soon after.
Donagh Meyler appeared to have brought favourite Dragon Khan with a perfectly-timed challenge, only for Angus Milan (7-4) to pull out more and score by three and three-quarter lengths.< Topper Thornton came right back to form to claim the spoils in the St. Patrick's Punter Pack Handicap Chase.
The 8-1 chance pulled up at Thurles last month but defied his novice status in style, pulling away after the final fence to inflict a five-and-a-half-length defeat on Kilford < Steamboat Bill came out on top in the Sean Graham Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle.
Jack Kennedy had to work hard from some way out on the 5-4 favourite but his mount responded admirably and he fought off Stowaway Shark for a half-length verdict.
Kennedy followed up when 5-2 favourite Finea battled hard to land the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase by a length and a half from Dr Moloney
The consistent Venitien De Mai made it third-time lucky in the Rodney Watson Memorial Beginners Chase as the 11-8 favourite, while She's A Star (13-8 favourite) made a successful start to her career in the Dark Horse Wine Bar At Down Royal Flat Race.
