< La Collina sprung a 33-1 surprise to take the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh for the Kevin Prendergast yard.

Beaten a neck by easy Debutante Stakes winner Maybe on her previous start, the juvenile looked to have plenty to do entering the final two furlongs of the Group One contest as she was still in rear.

But the gaps came at just the right time and she produced a smart turn of foot as Declan McDonogh weaved his way through to collar hot favourite Power close home and win by a neck, with Tough As Nails third.

Aidan O'Brien introduced a promising juvenile in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden in Was (9-2), who travelled sweetly for Joseph O'Brien before going clear in the final furlong to beat stablemate Cabin by two and a half lengths.

Jadey Pietrasiewicz was allowed a huge lead on Danehill Tapdancer (9-2) in a farcical Fegentri World Championship Race for lady riders and John Hayden's four-year-old kept going to win by six lengths.
