< Minding was at her imperious best when landing the Sea The Stars Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh.

Aidan O'Brien's 1,000 Guineas and Oaks heroine was sent off the 1-5 favourite and was confidently ridden by Ryan Moore as Bocca Baciata built up a big lead entering the home straight.

Minding soon reduced the deficit after the two-furlong pole, and swept past in the closing stages to win by four and a half lengths.< Roly Poly made it a double for O'Brien and Moore when getting the better of a thrilling battle with Seafront in the Grangecon Stud Stakes.

The 3-1 winner was well beaten in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, but travelled kindly and after pulling alongside Seafront, she just got the better of a real head-to-head tussle in the closing stages, winning by a neck.

O'Brien and Moore's run started when Sir Isaac Newton gained revenge on Chemical Charge to land the Finlay Volvo International Stakes.

Chemical Charge had finished ahead of his rival when they met here earlier in the month, but Sir Isaac Newton was sent off the 11-8 favourite to get his own back and after squeezing up the rail, he ran on well to score by three-quarters of a length.

O'Brien took his fourth winner of the day when Sword Fighter made all to land the Coral.ie Curragh Cup.

Moore had opted to ride Landofhopeandglory but Seamie Heffernan bounced the 11-4 chance out in front and never looked back, beating Moore's mount by two lengths.< Alexios Komnenos (50-1) made an impressive debut to run out a shock winner of the Barronstown Stud EBF Maiden for trainer Tommy Stack and jockey Wayne Lordan, beating Inca Gold by three lengths.< Sors showed tremendous pace to land the Tote Rockingham Handicap for Andrew Slattery.

Always in the front rank under Killian Leonard, the 20-1 chance kept on well to beat Kimberella by a length and three-quarters.

Ger Lyons' Sea Wolf (11-4 favourite) finished well under Colin Keane to land the Equisoft 25th Anniversary Handicap.
