Make Your Mark clears a hurdle on his way to victory under Ruby Walsh

Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh were in double winning form at Cork, culminating in Make Your Mark s success in the Friday Evening Racing Hurdle.
Walsh showed plenty of confidence on the 9-10 favourite, spending much of the race clear in front.< Shadow Catcher tried to get on top on the turn for home, but Make Your Mark saw him off and kept up the gallop to beat the running-on Moon Dice by two and a half lengths.
The double began with Walsh not having to get too serious on Mullins' Shamar as he landed the corkracecourse.ie Maiden Hurdle.
Kept on the rail not far off the leaders, the 5-2 favourite crept ever closer before taking it up two out.
A slick jump at the last sealed the deal, and he went on to record a three and a half length win over Aonvarr
Walsh's evening ended prematurely, though, as he was stood down after falling from Redusci in a race won by Henry De Bromhead's The Boat People (12-1), who just got the better of a thrilling battle with Foot Soldier to land the Follow Corkracecourse On Twitter Handicap Hurdle, winning by half a length.
David Splaine left it late to get Cnoc Na Sioga up to land the most valuable race on the card, the Father's Day Racing June 16th Handicap Hurdle.< Golden Kite appeared to have made a decisive move when pulling ahead two out, but Splaine galvanised the 12-1 chance and he got on top in the dying strides to win by a neck.
Charles Byrnes' 8-11 favourite Moscow Chief proved a very game partner for Barry Geraghty as he landed the Friday July 12th BBQ Maiden Hurdle, while the Like Us On Facebook Handicap Hurdle proved a happy hunting ground for Mick Winters' reserve Samantha Jones (11-1).
