< If Not For You got up close home to land the spoils in an incident-packed Clonmel Racecourse Supporters Club Only 85 Euro Beginners Chase at Clonmel.

A number of horses came down during the contest, and while jockeys all around the course were gingerly regaining their feet, Mark Walsh was able to guide his mount to pounce on long-time leader Wither Hills after the last, the Eddie Harty-trained 8-1 chance winning by a length.< Make A Track ran out a brave winner of the Clonmel Rated Hurdle.

Making every yard under Brian Cawley, the 4-1 chance was joined by favourite Noble Endeavour at the second last, but the market leader flattened that flight and never got back on terms, with Charlie Swan's charge scoring by a length and three-quarters.

Jessica Harrington's Keppols Queen gained the reward her consistent performances over timber merited when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Robbie Power looked the least concerned of the three leaders on the 11-4 chance at the second last, and two solid leaps in the home straight saw her come six and a half lengths clear of I'm All You Need with 4-5 favourite A Hardy Nailer back in third.< Stay With It could be picked out as the winner from a long way out in the Powerstown Handicap Hurdle, and Mick Winters' 10-1 chance did not disappoint, streaking clear under Patrick Corbett to win by five lengths from Shabra's Bertolini

Ricky Doyle stole a huge lead on Zipporah (14-1) in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle and never looked back, winning by a diminishing three and three-quarter lengths.

Philip Enright did not have to work hard to get Leap Dearg (/1) home in the Club Stand Restaurant Handicap Chase, while the Next Meeting Thursday February 5th Maiden Hurdle went to 9-2 chance Jimmy Two Times under Declan Lavery.
