< Six Silver Lane (11/2) proved his durability when running out a worthy winner of the Carers Evening at Clonmel Handicap for Joanna Morgan and Billy Lee.
The grey had only been seen as recently as Sunday, when fifth at the Curragh, but showed no ill effects from those exertions.
He bettered long-team leader Be My Storm halfway down the straight and crossed the line a length and a half in front, with the Johnny Murtagh-ridden 15/8 favourite Kastania only third.
Murtagh had better luck when steering Certerach to the spoils in the Mullinahone Maiden.
Mick Halford's gelding was sent off the 7/4 favourite on the back of a promising Leopardstown introduction and after taking the lead off Fountain Of Honour rounding the turn for home, he repelled the late thrust of Crystal Highness by a length and three-quarters, despite veering to his left in the closing stages.< Curl Cat (2/1) dispelled any stamina doubts about his ability to see out a mile and a quarter with a determined victory in the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Claiming Race.
The contest appeared to be between the Ken Condon-trained winner and market leader Belleau from some way out and Curl Cat found most in the hands of Shane Foley to register a length-and-a-half success, with Rocky's Pride running on late to snatch second from Belleau.
Foley followed up when bringing Elizabeth Coffee with a well-timed challenge in the All Ireland Hurling Weekend Handicap.
Top-weight Night Singer looked to have matters sewn up when shooting clear early in the straight, but Foley went in pursuit on the 20/1 chance, who got up by half a length to give Halford a double as well.
The pick of the jumping action was the Tipperary Home Of Hurling Hurdle, which saw Henry de Bromhead's game mare Royal Choice make every post a winning one.
