Tidy Zag continued on an upward curve when landing his hat-trick in some style in the two-mile handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse.
Andrew McNamara cruised into the lead turning for home on the Zagreb gelding and he was always in control from there. Might Be Magic tried to throw down a challenge but McNamara had plenty of horse underneath him and just needed to use 'hands and heels' encouragement to maintain his advantage.
Ray Hackett 's charge went on to record a cosy length-and-three-quarters success.
“The horse in very healthy in himself and we've been a long time waiting for that to come about. We're able to kick on with him now and it makes a big difference,” revealed Hackett.
“He's has improved from Tramore and we'll see how he comes out of this now. We'll let him dictate when to go again but we'll probably look at something in four to six weeks time.” Windsor Queen was the well-backed 7/2 favourite (from 9/2) but faded turning for home, after making the running, and finished last.
