Trainer/jockey Denis Hogan landed the Hospitality Packages Limerick Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today as Young Dev justified 3/1 favouritism in the three miles race.

The son of Fracas was ridden from off the pace when eventually beating Goulane Jessie by three parts of a length and afterwards Hogan reported “I'm delighted to have another winner for Liam (Mulryan) as he is a good supporter and is one sound man. He is here, he doesn't always come racing but it was lovely to have him here today.

“He is still a bit weak and it is deplorable ground and he wandered around on it. It was a low grade event today but he'll have a nice future in handicap hurdles.

“He is a lovely staying chaser in time and his brother by Sholokov (point to point winner Wide Receiver) made GBP410,000 at the sales two weeks ago.”
