Will Do had to work to land the odds in the novice hurdle at Thurles, but was ultimately well in charge at the winning post.
Gordon Elliott 's six-year-old gelding was sent off at 4/11 after taking a staying maiden hurdle at Sligo last month.
He encountered 2m7f here and was almost on terms with Moon D'orange at the penultimate flight. The 'jolly' soon came off the bridle and was ridden by Jack Kennedy on the run to the last which he jumped in a narrow lead from Getaway Charlie and Sarah Beara
Kennedy drove him to assert inside the final 150 yards of the run-in and the duo came home by two and three-quarter lengths from Getaway Charlie (10/3).
The jockey said: "The further he goes the better he is, and the ground is only yielding and that's as good as he wants it. He did it well and the softer ground the better.
"He is probably not the slowest horse, but is lazy and only does what he has to. Hopefully he keeps progressing."
