The Stewards interviewed Padraig Beggy, rider of the winner Miss Minnies concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Padraig Beggy had used his whip with excessive force and frequency and taking his good record into account they suspended him for 1 Raceday.
