Ruby Walsh produced The Job Is Right with a storming late run to land the spoils in the John Mulholland Bookmakers Handicap Hurdle at Galway.

Michael Hourigan 's grey tracked the leaders in the 2m5f event but looked under pressure as Walsh got serious going to the second last.

The 16/1 shot found another gear going to the final flight, however, and stormed home on the run-in to get the better of another fast finisher Master Appeal by three-parts-of-a-length.

The winner was bouncing back to form having been pulled up on his previous two outings over fences.

"Ruby gave him a peach of a ride. He was losing his way over fences so I told him do whatever he liked," said Hourigan.

"He said he was going as fast as he could the whole way but knew, like me, that he'd win jumping the second last.

"Ruby suggested a race like the Troytown for him.

"My winners are coming around like buses at the moment!"

Hourigan was recording a double having also scored with Hash Brown in the handicap chase earlier on the card.
