It was three for Ruby Walsh on the day, and a Wexford double for Gordon Elliott, after Ball D'Arc's win in the Jim Whitty Memorial Beginners Chase.
Elliott and Walsh combined to take the opener on this card with Tom Doran's Sanibel Island whilst the champion jockey donned the Gigginstown House Stud colours to score on Burndown for the Henry de Bromhead yard.
He was also in the famous maroon and white for the spin on 4/7 chance Ball D'Arc, and he got the job done by three lengths from Our Dougal
Gigginstown also had a winner over at Galway with Mouse Morris' Nambour
This treble for Walsh came hot on the heels of a double at the venue yesterday, and he said: "I hadn't ridden here much left handed but I must say it has turned into a very good chase track.
"The hurdles track is good too, but it's a proper chase track now. The two fences in the last two furlongs ride really well, they are positioned up against the hill.
"All the fences are in a good places and you have to jump to win. It has turned from a very average track into a decent track. I was sceptical enough moving from right to left but they were right."
On Ball D'Arc Walsh reported: "He settled well, travelled well and jumped well. I suppose he done what he was supposed to do. They went a good gallop, and I couldn't knock him anyway. His form is strong, he was second to Three Stars in a Graded race, and had some good runs over hurdles. He is a very, very good jumper."
