Walsh Bangonform
It was a good afternoon for Ruby Walsh after he recorded a treble when Bangonform from the Davy Fitzgerald stable won the Londis Supermarkets Beginners Chase for owner James Murtagh.
Walsh raced the son of Lord Americo in behind the leaders and came with a challenge travelling well three out and took up lead before the last and kept on well for an easy thirteen length win over long time leader Dromore Express
A delighted Fitzgerald said afterwards: “Ruby rode him the last day and said that he needed three miles bit I thought this was a lovely opportunity for him as it was a race for horses who haven’t won a hurdle race.”
“I love the way he jumped today as he hasn’t jumped a fence in over a year.”
