Two races in at Naas and two Aidan O’Brien odds on favourites well beaten, though nothing should detract from the impressive performance of Viztoria who sluiced up at 33/1.

The daughter of Oratorio demolished her 11 rivals by seven and a half lengths in the six furlong fillies maiden for trainer Ado McGuinness and jockey Ian Brennan.

Despite going off a big price on debut the result didn’t come as a shock to Ado McGuinness who said: “I knew she was a very good filly. She was working at home with horses and beating the hell out of them.

“Horses rated 80 and 90 couldn’t get near her. Ian kep telling me she’s one of the best two-year-old’s he has ever sat on.

“She won a schooling race at Dundalk for us. I wasn’t sure about the slow ground with her. I don’t know where I’ll go now. She looks fairly classy and we’ll try and get black type.”

Once Viztoria hit the front over two furlongs out she was ridden clear and kept on strongly to the line. Mrs Bean won the battle for the minor honours at 25/1 though she was backed at 100/1 in the morning. Magical Dream Aidan O’Brien’s second string, was a neck away in third at 9/2.

The 4/5 favourite for Aidan and Joseph O’Brien was Where who was backed down from 11/8 in the morning. Joseph O’Brien was hard at work a long way out and the pair made no headway in coming in sixth.
