The conditions race over nine-and-a-half furlongs was won by 11/8 favourite Trustyourinstinct who completed a quick double for Joseph O'Brien after Maxux in the previous contest.

A debut maiden winner on Guineas weekend at the Curragh, the Churchill colt kept tabs on the leaders before striking the front on the stands' side a furlong and a half out. He was kept going by Declan McDonogh to win readily by two and three quarter lengths from Casanova

Frank Berry, racing manager for winning owner JP McManus, said: "He did that nicely and has come forward a bit from the Curragh.

Declan was very happy with him and he quickened up nicely.

"We will see what Joseph wants to do with him and it was a nice step up the ladder for him today. Hopefully he will keep going forward."
