Point-to-point winner Truckin All Night took the bumper at Cork on just his second racecourse start for trainer Jimmy Mangan with Robbie McNamara in the saddle.
The 6yo son of Snurge won his point-to-point on his fourth attempt at Inch in April of last year.
He then wasn't seen again until he ran in a maiden hurdle at Killarney in May of this year.
He performed with credit at the Co Kerry venue to finish just over twelve lengths sixth behind Dara Tango.
Having his first start in a bumper today he was prominent throughout and stayed on best inside the final furlong to score by two lengths at the line.
He opened at 10/1 with Paddy Powers this morning but opened on track at just 5/1 before going off at 9/2.
The John Clifford trained Relic Rock ran a cracker on his debut to finish second under Roger Quinlan at 25/1 while the 5/2 favourite Clara Bel La kept on well without threating to take third under Derek O'Connor for John Kiely.
Winning trainer Jimmy Mangan said afterwards: "He won a point-to-point and if he is not sold he'll go for a hurdle."
