Arbourfield and Billy Lee come home in front of Twistsandturns

In division one of the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Handicap we had a well-backed winning favourite with Arbourfield (around 6s earlier into 5/2) pleasing his many supporters by half a length from Twistsandturns
Billy Lee was in the plate on Prunella Dobbs' charge and they raced in mid-division.
The 'jolly' took closer order two furlongs out, and he was ridden to chase the leader in second entering the final furlong, staying on well to lead inside the final final furlong - pushed out for the win.
"We seem to have another Dundalk specialist. That's his second win here. Carried was carrying the colours before now," said Mrs Dobbs on her husband George's Moss Vale gelding.
"Obviously he likes the surface. He was consistent on the grass during the summer but obviously prefers it here.
"We'll keep him for it now, and he should have a nice campaign over the winter.
"We'll keep him between seven furlongs and a mile. Seven is probably his optimum trip.
"Billy got his timing to perfection."
