A Sizing Network made all the running to win the Coral.ie Download The App Handicap Chase at Punchestown today for last season’s Gold Cup winners, scoring a fine staying win for Sizing John’s trainer Jessica Harrington, jockey Robbie Power and for owner Alan Potts.

The combination were famously successful at Cheltenham last March with the upped-in-trip Sizing John and today A Sizing Network himself again showed an abundance of stamina to make all and win well under 11st11lbs, by nine and a half lengths from runner-up Static Jack

Harrington later said “it took him a while but he's found the winning way and Robert said he jumped brilliantly. He'll go on that ground but I don't think he's a real heavy ground horse.

"Robert wants to get him into the Topham next year and he feels that's the race for him. He might go to Cheltenham for a race or Aintree but we’ll have to see. He's still a novice so he has that option as well.

"I think he could stay for ever, it looks like he just gallops and jumps and Robert said he was always going comfortably."
