Templemore Dream stayed on best on the run-in to win the opening maiden hurdle on Wexford's card for Alan Fleming.

The four-year-old grey gelding stalked the leaders in fifth coming to the second last and jumped the final flight in fourth under Roger Loughran.

However, he was produced between Roseriver Has and Eamon High to get up close home by three parts of a length at 16/1.

Roseriver Has, the 5/4 favourite, took second from Eamon High (25/1).

Alan Fleming said: "He was very good and Roger was very happy with him there. He is a not a bad type of horse. He had a good run in a bumper at Killarney, he jumped well there today and got the trip well.

"Roger thinks he'll get a bit further. We will keep him at a small level and see how we go. He didn't mind the ground either. We will see what handicap mark he gets and he will jump a fence in time as well."

Templemore Dream's only other racecourse appearance saw him finish fifth in a bumper at Killarney in May when backed from 14/1 to 9/1.
