Sweet Chariot (9/2) got up close home to land the La Bucca Restaurants Nursery under Wayne Lordan.
Favourite when unplaced on handicap debut at the Curragh, she looked to be making no impression on the leaders when ridden two furlongs out but came home strongly to deny South Sea Island by half-a-length.
After two winners at Listowel, it was a third winner of the afternoon for Aidan O'Brien and the Coolmore partners.
Lordan said of the well-bred daughter of Wootton Bassett: “I jumped to go forward from the wide draw but I couldn't get in and I had to sit where I was, but when I straightened up I hit the line well.
“I think she'll have no problem stepping up a furlong and she'll come forward again.
“She's been running very respectably in nice maidens, so it was nice to get her head in front.”
