A course and distance winner off an 11lb lower mark in April, Summer Snow landed the Membership At Gowran Park Golf Club Handicap under Colin Keane.

The grey daughter of El Kabeir, trained by Michael O'Callaghan for P A Kelly, tracked the leaders on the inner before hitting the front over a furlong out.

From there the 10/3 favourite kept on well to account for Scarlet Dancer by a length and a quarter.

Keane remarked: "The way she won earlier in the year, she looked like she was well handicapped and while she since had two disappointing runs, she obviously has a liking for this place.

"She had the draw (2), jumped and travelled and was able to quicken into the gap when we needed to, and got to the line well.

"A bit of time between races seems to suit her, she obviously likes this course and could be a filly to bring to Galway for the owners, who knock great sport out of her."
