Stolen Moment who had been placed in her last three handicap chases, ran away with the final race on Clonmel's card.
Sheila Ahern took 7lb off her back again and nothing was going better than the duo at the head of affairs approaching the penultimate flight in this second divide of the 3m handicap hurdle.
The 10-year-old Court Cave mare imposed herself on the field between the final two flights and drew clear on the run-in to win by a dominant 10 lengths at 6/1. Storm Mahler picked up a runner-up prize at 14/1 and was five and a half lengths in front of 11/4 favourite Ishan
"She is ok in those races and on that performance you'd say she'll win another one. She is consistent and there is a 0-95 hurdle over 2m6f for her in Limerick on Sunday week, trainer Sean Aherne said.
He added: "Sheila worked with me for years but is farming now and has horses of her own, so only rides out for me the odd time. She suits that mare fine and was good on her today."
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Course, Mr. L. Wyer, that Ocodango Boy (11th placed) trained by Peter McCreery could not be reshod prior to the start of this race and ran without a near hind shoe.
