Johnny King timed things well from the front as Prosperity Square held on to make all the running in the Ingoldsby Handicap Chase.

Conor O'Dwyer 's gelding looked to have victory sown up as he kicked on four from home, in the 3m1f amateur contest, and King was looking behind for dangers turning in. Embracing Change emerged as a threat from the second last and chased down the eventual winner on the run-in getting to within half a length at the line.

Prosperity Square, a 14/1 shot, had been third at Sligo last time after two disappointing efforts previously and O'Dwyer said:-

“I brought him to Ffos Las where I thought he had conditions in his favour but he ran abysmally which is not like him.

“He then went to Listowel and did the same again. I stuck a visor on him at Sligo and, I'm reluctant to say it, but that did the trick.

“Johnny let him bowl along today and he's jumped from fence to fence.

“He'll go back for the Porterstown at Fairyhouse (November 30th) as he ran well in that last year and he'll probably have a run in between.”
