Tallow based Joe O'Keeffe was on the mark again with his Special Token which followed up on her recent Clonmel bumper win, with a win in the Killetra Mares Maiden Hurdle at Cork today.

Ably ridden by Pat Mangan, Special Token raced prominently throughout, disputed the lead in the straight before battling well to get her head in front on the run-in, to score a neck win over Second Glance

Afterwards O'Keeffe reported “Special Token did that very well and is a lovely, versatile mare. Pat gave her a super ride and we'll aim her at a winners' of one race next.”
