Following a treble over jumps at Punchestown earlier in the afternoon, trainer Gavin Cromwell completed a four-timer when sending out Sixandahalf to win the Mallow Fillies Maiden at Cork.
The daughter of Snow Sky, who had easily won a bumper at the Punchestown Festival last month, quickened up smartly inside the final furlong to open her account on the level.
In doing so, she emphatically reversed previous form with 6/5f Familiar Dreams who had beaten her when they met at the County Kildare track under National Hunt rules.
The latter looked set to be involved when leading early in the straight but no sooner had she got to the front then she was overtaken by debutant Cancelled who came through on the rail.
Gary Carroll arrived down the outside full of running on Sixandahalf but momentarily had to push along after Cancelled got first run.
To her credit, the eventual winner picked up well, drawing alongside before going on to score readily by a length and three quarters.
Winning jockey Gary Carroll said: "She didn't ride like a bumper horse and while she relaxed lovely and went to sleep, she came alive very quickly up the straight and I had to 'whoa' her. She had plenty gears and is a nice filly going forwards.
"I had gears today but that was a maiden and a 1m4f would b a different story. She isn't slow but does stay two miles on heavy ground, which could land her into a good (flat) handicap.
"I'm going to try and pick races for her, so Gavin doesn't find jump races!"
