Search For A Myth (9/2) overcame a near eight month lay-off to land the first division of the BoyleSports Handicap Hurdle for Robert Tyner and Phillip Enright.

Three times runner-up last season, the daughter of Flemensfirth was held up in rear of mid-division until Enright got a lovely split racing to the second-last. After seizing his opportunity to move into contention there, Enright sent the winner to the front at the last and she stayed on well to beat Warm In Gorey by two and a half lengths.

Frank Berry, racing manager of winning owner JP McManus, said: "She had been knocking on the door a good bit and Phillip gave her a grand ride because she is not the simplest, she pulls a bit.

"She jumped great today and deserved it. She will tip away for the summer and mix it between hurdles and fences. We bought the dam (Tyner's five-time winner Whatwillwecallher) after she won at Punchestown and we are still breeding off of her."
