Co Wexford trainer, Paul Nolan saddled Savitha to win The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Hurdle for owner Robert Hennelly.

Ruby Walsh settled the King's Theatre mare in mid-division, made progress travelling well approaching straight, led after last and stayed on well to win by 1 ? lengths.

Winning trainer Nolan said afterwards, "She deserved it she has been unlucky all season. She got a lovely ride and Ruby [Walsh] said she might be better over 2 ? miles, she gets caught for a bit of toe that's when stamina comes into play. We will stick to hurdling and see what comes up."
