Run The Red Light sprang a 50/1 surprise in the Loder EBF Fillies Race as she scored in convincing style under Fran Berry for owner/trainer Andrew Oliver.
The daughter of Alfred Nobel made little impression on her debut at Galway last week, finishing eighth of twelve behind Legatissimo on good ground.
On soft ground this afternoon (changed from yielding after the first) she soon led and made all, asserting over a furlong out before keeping on strongly close home to score by three and a quarter lengths. Tamadhor was sent off the 2/1 favourite and she kept on to take second under Chris Hayes for Kevin Prendergast while Pour Deux ran a nice race on her debut, finishing a further length back in third under Declan McDonogh for John Oxx at 13/2 (touched 8’s on-course). Toogoodtobetrue who was the 13/8 favourite this morning, drifted from 2/1 to 5/2 on-course and she finished a disappointing seventh for Aidan and Joseph O’Brien.
Andrew Oliver said afterwards: "She's a lovely big, rangy filly and Fran gave her a lovely ride. She came on a heap from Galway.
"She holds an entry in the Debutante Stakes, so we'll have to see about that. She's a filly for next year really."
The winner was bought for €8,000 as a yearling at Tattersalls last September.
