3/1 favourite Gimli's Rock continued a tough day for the bookmakers when landing the EPS Pumps Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.

Tom Treacy sent his mount to the front after the second last but he had to battle on the run-in. Strain Of Fame threw down a strong challenge in the closing stages, just failing by a head to peg back Jessica Harrington's charge.

"He's a proper little horse considering the weight he had. He has a heart as big as a tree," said Treacy.
