Pretty Rebel swooped from last to first to run out a cosy winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Naas, giving trainer Ger O'Leary a quick double on the card.
Colin Keane sat last on the 7/2 favourite in the early stages of the €23,500 contest, run over just shy of six furlongs, before making ground up at the two pole.
The Gutaifan filly kicked on over a furlong out and she was soon in control as she went on to record a two-and-a-quarter length win over Sister Lola who stayed on late from the rear.
Assistant trainer Adrian Joyce said afterwards:- “That was very good. We really fancied her today as her bit of work last week was unbelievable and she did it well.
“Even slower ground would help her a lot.
“Ger is away in Wimbledon with the family and he's over the moon so it's s great day's work.
“It was a lovely pot and she's a lovely filly. She has a lot of ability and hasn't shown it yet on the track.
“She's very much ground dependant. She travelled up really well there today and you'd be impressed with her.
“I'd say we'll target a Listed fillies race with her somewhere along the line now. She's entitled to go and do that.”
O'Leary had also struck in the preceding race, the second division of the apprentice handicap, with Born Invincible
