Enchanted Garden overcame her wide draw to run out a cosy winner of the apprentice handicap at Leopardstown for Tony Mullins.
The Calyx filly was making her first start since winning at Dundalk just before Christmas and went to post a 16/1 shot.
Jack Cleary produced his mount with a strong run to lead over a furlong from home and record a convincing two-and-three-quarter length success over Imperial Dream
“I thought she couldn't do it out of 17. I know she's a good filly but I just thought coming out of 17 over seven furlongs here was an impossible task,” said Mullins.
“She travelled like a dream and I surprised and delighted.
“He gave her a beautiful ride, got her into a position, and she just quickened like she promised to do coming off the bend.
“I'm very happy with her and I might go to Galway on the Monday night for the three-year-old only handicap over seven furlongs.”
