Tom Foley registered his first winner of the new season when his Ontheground made all to win the Mullingar.ie Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan this evening, under Roger Loughran

Following the win Foley said “he got very worked up the last day and I don't know why because it's not like him.”

He added “he is the only National Hunt horse I have in for the summer so he is flying the flag for us! The winning syndicate (the CLG G C Syndicate, including members of the Connors family)are from Carlow.”
