The Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) INH Flat Race saw Too Falutin (12/1) record a wide-margin victory in the hands of Tom Hamilton.
Always prominent, the Fame And Glory filly led early in the back straight and powered away in the final furlong for a ten length win from newcomer Lily Light Foot (18/1), with another debutante Harmony Hill (6/ two and a half lengths further back in third.
The favourite Negroni sent off at Evens, stopped very quickly in the back straight and finished tailed off.
Bred by his late wife Maria, the Edward O’Grady-owned and trained winner has been improving with racing and after a third place finish at Sligo earlier this month, was getting off the mark on her fourth appearance.
The winning rider Tom Hamilton remarked: "I’ve ridden for Mr O’Grady before but that’s my first winner for him.
“She had three decent enough runs and she knew her job well.
“Experience counts for a lot around here.”
The winning trainer Edward O’Grady later remarked on the phone: “It’s a first winner in these colours, which have a slightly different cap to my wife’s colours. The filly won well and may go for a race on the Flat next.”
