O'Dwyer/O'Shea on the mark at Limerick twelve months on

Sun 31st Jan 2010, 16:38

A year since Conor O'Dwyer and Niki O'Shea landed a brilliant double at Limerick with Uncle Tom Cobley and Ar Aghaidh Leat, the pair struck again at Greenmount Park when Presenting Massey landed the Greenmount Beginners Chase by a length and a half.

Backed from as big as 8/1 this morning into a starting price of 5/1, the son of Presenting stayed on best from the back of the last to see off Victram and Smack That

Afterwards O'Dwyer commented: "I thought the ground mightn't suit as he'd be better on better ground. Hopefully the handicapper won't murder him and he'll be a nice handicapper for the spring and summer.

"He was second in a point-to-point to Themoonandsixpence and he is going to make a better chaser than hurdler. He jumps fences real well."
