No Stopping Sarah at Ballinrobe

Mon 21st Sep 2009, 16:54

Pat Fahy's No Stopping Sarah showed no ill affects of a run at Listowel on Saturday when winning the Easyfix Rubber Products Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe today.

No Stopping Sarah had finished eighth in the Slan Abhaile Race at Listowel but easily landed today's contest, with jockey Paul Townend easing down the daughter of King's Theatre down for an eight lengths win.

Afterwards Fahy stated “we decided to run her again today because Katie (Walsh) minded her when her chance was gone at Listowel.”

He added “she seems to have improved a lot recently and will run again before the ground goes heavy. She is still a novice for next year and will go Flat handicapping next year too.”
