Versatile Neverushacon completed the full-set of chase, hurdle and flat wins for 2018 at Gowran today as the Jessica Harrington trained gelding landed the concluding Gowran Park Golf Memberships 2019 Handicap under jockey Niall McCullagh.

The seven year old was today scoring his seventh career success and having already won over hurdles at Killarney in May and over fences at Limerick in July, completed a remarkable yearly hat-trick today when beating Causey Arch by a neck

Harrington later said “he went three miles here the last day over hurdles and got very tired but he was up for that today.

“I’ve never seen him travel so well in a mile and six race, and when he was second in the Ulster Cesarewitch he never travelled at all but just ground it out and got headed.

“He’s now won a hurdle race, a steeplechase and a Flat race this year. He’s some fun horse and we’ll keep going until the ground gets heavy. I’ll try and find something for him as quick as possible.”
