The Paul Fahey trained Do Na Paisti got off the mark on her fourth attempt over flights as she ran out a very easy winner of the Come Visit Down Mares Maiden Hurdle.

The seven-year-old daughter of Atraf was beaten just a neck on her hurdles debut at Kilbeggan last September and she was last seen finishing a disappointing twelfth of thirteen in a qualified riders maiden on the level at Wexford in May.

Back over hurdles this afternoon she went off a 2/1 chance with Shane Butler in the saddle.

Having raced in fourth she quickly improved to lead after the third last flight, stretching after the next before keeping on well away from the last to score by an eased down five and a half lengths. Indian Fairy went off the 10/11 favourite under Mickey Butler for Eoin Doyle and she finished back in second while Stay Tuned was further three lengths back in third.

Paul Fahey said afterwards: "There's three mares hurdles this week, two today and one on Friday and we found a weak race.

"She had good form last year. I couldn't find an owner for her so I gave her to the kids.

"She'll go to Galway, my teenagers will enjoy a day there! She'll be a lovely mare over fences, she jumps a fence."
