Mystical a welcome tonic for Hourigan
Locally based Michael Hourigan trained Mystical Breeze under Paul Townend to win the Newton Abbot Races Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today.
The win proved a welcome tonic for Hourigan who was a notable absentee in the winner's enclosure, having suffered a "niggling" back injury recently.
Hourigan's son Mike Hourigan Jnr did briefly mention "Mystical Breeze will probably go for a similar handicap again next."
